This client offers international and national transport solutions for part and full load in Europe. They move goods by road, rail and a combination of the two.
This client has an international network linking more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. 

Due to seasonal demands we are looking for dedicated HGV 1 Driver’s to join the team based at East Midlands Airport Castle Donington.

Duties include the following:
• Loading and unloading freight onto the truck
• Using a scanner to scan freight
• Driving to and from allocated destination including nights out
• Completing tachograph and adhering to rules and regulation

Duration
This is a temp – perm contract on a 13-week basis.

Hours
40 hours per week.  Over 7 days on different rosta’s.  NIGHTS ONLY. 

Salary
£10.00 per hour basic
£15.00 per hour on Saturdays
£18.00 Additional for Nights Out

Additional Information.
In order to apply candidates must be able to provide
• HGV 1 Licence
• Full UK driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points
• Valid passport eligible to work within the UK.
• A full 5-year checkable history.
• You must be able to complete and pass a criminal record check.

Working in an exciting airport environment, you’ll assist passengers with reduced mobility to travel safely and comfortably through the airport, from check-in areas to aircraft seats. 

Experience is not essential as full training will be given, but you will need:
• Committed, flexible and enthusiastic attitude
• A fully checkable five year history
• A satisfactory criminal records check in line with regulations for the Department of Transport and the British Airports Authority
Hours 0400-1000
Roster 4 on 2 off .  365 days per year.
Roster could vary should the workload change.
Uniform and Car Parking provided.
Must have full driving licence as required to drive minibus on apron.
Full training will be provided.
