Travel to the Airport by public transport

Bus services link the Airport with Nottingham, Leicester, Derby, Loughborough, Coalville. All Airport bus timetables and fares can be accessed through the skylink website.

Employee Travel Savers

All bus services provide discounted travel for employees.

Nottingham Skylink - purchase an easyrider from Nottingham City Transport or CashSaver card from Trent Barton and travel to the Airport for just £1 return. Contact the operator to purchase your card, which will give you unlimited travel on the bus and tram network in Nottingham.


Leicester Skylink - purchase a Weekly Saver ticket at just £19.00 or a Monthly Saver ticket at just £55.00. Both cards can be purchased from the driver.

The Leicester Skylink bus travels along Hinckley rd, Alkman ave, Groby rd, and Field head to the Airport.

The Derby and Loughborough Skylink travels via the railway station at Derby through to Shardlow, Castle Donington, to the Airport, and continues through to Diseworth, Long Whatton, Hathern to Loughborough.

Rainbow 5 - purchase a Frio ticket for 13 journeys, 3 of which are free! Purchase from the driver.

The Rainbow 5 bus travels from Beeston bus station to Long Eaton, Castle Donington to the Airport then through Kegworth, Sutton Bonington to Hathern and Loughbrough.

Coalville 155 Airlink bus which travels through Sinope, Coleorton, Newbold, Worthington,Breedon on the Hill, Tonge, Isley Walton to the Airport and through to Castle Donington to return to Coalville.
Employees can purchase an Arriva Midlands 4 Weekly saver from the driver for £63.00
